The Earth-Based Institute is owned and operated by Michael
Jospé.  As a therapist, educator and wilderness guide, Michael is passionate about helping people learn about themselves while being out in nature.  Michael has a BA in Outdoor Recreation Leadership, an MA in Adventure Education, and a certificate in Gestalt Psychology.  In addition, Michael’s approach to working with people has been influenced by author and educator, Tom Brown, Jr., outdoor educator, Jon Young, and gestalt therapist, Roger Strachan.

Michael believes that each person has a unique purpose in life, a purpose that is important to the health and balance of our society, as well as the environment. EBI was created as a venue for people to enhance their lives by working through the beliefs and patterns that get in the way of following dreams and living a life of passion and meaning.

INDEX

“I have collaborated with Michael Jospe in many capacities over the years. Whether he is serving as a wilderness guide, mentor, therapist, coach, or workshop facilitator it is always a privilege to work with him. He brings a grounded, strong, and integral quality to all of the work that he does.  Michael is kind and gracious and has great listening skills. People feel at ease and safe with him. He can be very clear, direct, and honest when necessary and people respect him because of it.”
